Prompt Engineering Reflection
While building my other two resumes using AI, I learned how specific and detailed the wording has to be otherwise it will completely misunderstand what you are asking. I tried out a few prompts due to carelessness the first couple times around, however each prompt created a resume that stated the exact same job experience in a different way. The first two prompts I used were “Create a resume for a real estate assistant position with strong client interaction skills,” and “ Make a resume for a marketing position that adds on social media strategy.” It used very similar skills for each resume, such as client service, communication, reliability, and coordination.
All in all, I learned that you need to be meticulous with your usage of words and to train the AI over time for the most efficient results. After I had rewritten my prompt with more detail and background of the objective, it immediately corrected itself. This made me realize how efficient of a personal tool it could be if utilized properly, like a super tutor.
